Thrive Wearables 3DPrinter was broken
3D Print and Stuff printed some parts for us during a period when our printer was being repaired. Throughout this process I was impressed with their flexibility and willingness to help, all of the requested prints were high quality and ready the next working day. Recommended service! Needed 3D Printing
Need something printing? Talk to Chris @ 3D Print & Stuff.
I found a 3D STL file on-line that was exactly what I was after (a stand for Coffee Pods) and after finding Chris’s site on google, thought I would see if he could print it and at what cost!
He clearly has a passion for 3D printing and I was impressed with his knowledge. After a quick discussion about different types of materials, we agreed a (very competitive) price and he was off. The price was that good, I asked for two!
Items were ready to collect after a few days and I am very happy with the result. If I need something printed, I know I’ll use him again. Cheers. Nick Wight 01/03/2018
I needed a replacement for a bi-fold shower door hinge, quite an awkward shape. After making an initial enquiry and sending a couple of photos I agreed a price for 3 to be made. Very quickly the design was sent to me with a couple of questions. Then two prototypes were provided for me to check and comment on before the final pieces were produced. Throughout the process I consider that I was kept informed of progress, asked relevant questions and that the attention to detail was first class. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this service again, and would recommend them to others. Paul S. 24/11/2017

Enabled School’s 3D Printing Set-up
I met Chris Hills through a Brighton self-build group. I approached this group of people as I had recently managed to purchase two 3D printer kits. Having built one over the course of several months, it then sat on the bench for over a year gathering dust as no one was able to get it going. Having met Chris, I soon became aware that he was a talented and knowledgeable person who knew pretty much everything there was to know about 3D printers. He had built several printers at the group in Brighton and clearly was at the centre of running and maintaining this incredible resource. Embarking on my printer, Chris first showed me how to rebuild it, and get it print ready! This involved reconstructing the frame, making many adjustments, levelling the bed and extensive programming of the circuit board. Most of these procedures were a complete learning curve for me and something I would never of worked out on my own. Following these preparations, we began to print for the first time which was an incredible experience! Chris showed me how to further refine the printer to ensure accurate prints were being constructed. He was also great in demonstrating how different plastics affected temperatures of the extruder and heated bed. One of the huge issues I found with 3D printers was how much maintenance and adjustment can be made over time. Chris was super is assisting with these issues as well as teaching me how to ensure the printer consistently performed correctly.
Following the success of the first printer, I proceeded to build the second again with assistance from Chris. He was again super in assisting with some of the finer details in hardware and programming. The great thing I found with Chris was that he was always on the end of the phone or very quickly able to be on site to assist. I hope to continue my relationship with 3D Print & Stuff and keep my students 3D printing for long in to the future.
I am under no doubt what so ever the without the help and expertise of Chris Hills, my school Steyning Grammar in West Sussex would not be 3D printing Engineering and Technology student work. It has helped me and my students access higher grades and many more students achieve a Technology GCSE.

Helped Rebuild 3D Printer from Kit parts
I am very grateful to Chris for all the technical support he has given me and my daughter. He took our 3D printer apart, upgraded it and made it work more smoothly and accurately. He is totally committed to finding solutions to tricky problems and his attention to detail is impressive.
Chris also taught me how to use the 3D printer. I was a complete beginner and now I teach others the basics at our local hacker-space. I think my daughter and I would have given up on it without all the help Chris gave us.
